Maija Pekkasen tarina (The Story of Maija Pekkanen) is a doctoral dissertation for Aalto University. Author Leena Juntunen looks into the career of one costume designer and the development of the profession in Finland during the years 1960–1975. The book includes a number of Pekkanen’s colorful sketches.
